Christmas Present Online (likely 3/12)

Post by Periplus of the Erythraean Sea » Sat Feb 13, 2016 11:16 pm

At the request of a number of British luminaries, among others, I am announcing a Skype mirror of Christmas Present, likely to be on 3/12 (though this date is definitely liable to change). A tentative signup sheet can be found here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing

The mirror fee will be $5 per player. Pay me at ACF Nationals or whenever else is convenient.

Unless there's a problem, I'd like to volunteer to help staff. Take me off the list if this is a problem.

What is the expected start and end time of the online tournament?

Hey! I'm looking for a teammate for this. I know some myth and a little bit of social science.

Since the "stanford housewrite" online mirror is planned for 3/12, I'm moving this to 3/13 for now.

This is moved back to Saturday, now that "stanford housewrite" online isn't happening.

We'll begin at a leisurely 1PM Eastern/10AM Pacific, unless anyone has objections, to give people adequate time to get lunch and/or breakfast (or whatever number meal of the day it is for you) before the tournament. Please email me at gamegeek2@gmail.com to confirm your team or I will assume you're not playing. Meet in #cponline 10 minutes before the tournament starts.

Please post your skype handles on the spreadsheet. Also, we still need at least one more staffer.
