Early Fall Tournament (EFT) at WKU (October 15, 2016)

I am happy to announce that Western Kentucky University will be holding a mirror of the Early Fall Tournament (details here) on Saturday, October 15, 2016. I will serve as the tournament director.
Location and Time:
Because our semester has not yet started, we have not definitively secured rooms for the tournament. However, nearly all of our past tournaments have taken place in Cherry Hall, so you can expect the same for this one. I will update this area as soon as we determine the location for certain.
Regarding time, we would like teams to arrive between 8:00 and 8:45 AM. Our opening meeting will occur at 8:45 or immediately following the arrival of all teams, whichever comes first. Round 1 will begin no later than 9:00 AM, probably 5-10 minutes after the opening meeting begins. Please note that Bowling Green is located in the Central Time Zone, so make plans accordingly.
Field Size:
I am going to initially set a soft field cap of 12 teams, but if we have sufficient demand and the staffers to handle that demand, I will raise the cap accordingly.
Eligibility:
This tournament is open to any interested college or high school teams. We have decided not to allow open teams due to sufficient demand from teams representing a single school.
Base fee: $120 per team
Discounts:
Buzzers: -$10 per working system
Moderator: -$15 per moderator
Travel: -$10 per 200 miles (one way)
Minimum fee: $50 per team
Payment:
We will accept either cash or check on the morning of the tournament. Further instructions (along with an invoice) will be given upon registration.
Registration:
Please send an email to [email protected], and indicate the number of teams you plan to bring, as well as any discounts that apply.
Any other questions may be posted in this thread, or you can shoot us an email. I look forward to seeing everyone on October 15th!
