Early Fall Tournament (EFT) at Minnesota (Sept. 24, 2016)

The University of Minnesota - Twin Cities is happy to announce that it will be hosting 2016 Early Fall Tournament (EFT) on September 24, 2016!

Eligibility
This tournament is open to all college and high schools teams that are interested. This tournament will be "regular-minus" difficulty and should be enjoyable for players of all level, as descirbed here:

Fee Structure
The base fee for this tournament is $120.
Buzzer discount: -$5 per buzzer system with at least 4 working buzzers on each side
Travel discount: -$10 per 200 miles traveled one way
Minimum fee: can be discussed on a case by case basis

Registration
Please email me at [email protected] stating where you are from, the number of teams you would like to bring, and whatever discounts your team claims.

Logistics
The tournament will take place in Blegen Hall, registration will begin at 8:30, and play will begin at 9:00. Depending on the size of the tournament, Blegen room 5 will be used as a control room. A check addressed to the "University of Minnesota Quizbowl Team" will be expected the morning of the tournament.

To my understanding, stats have to be uploaded by the person who owns the entry for the tournament (at least, if they're going to be attached to the tournament).

Board admins have the ability to change "who owns what entries in the tournament database." Feel free to contact us if there's some kind of unusual situation that requires such intervention.

UMN C has 5 players who played all 10 games, which is impressive and inaccurate.

We ran these pretty hastily and I don't think the spreadsheets specified whether players were in a game or not. Apologies if peoples' numbers are getting needlessly deflated - feel free to compile a more accurate report.
