NAQT Collegiate Novice (IS-161AC) at Kentucky (Sunday, 9/18)

The University of Kentucky Quiz Bowl Team is pleased to announce that we will be hosting a mirror of NAQT's Collegiate Novice set IS-161AC on Sunday, September 18, 2016 on our campus in Lexington, Kentucky. Note that this set is different from NAQT's other Collegiate Novice set IS-158C, and you are allowed to attend tournaments using each set. The tournament will begin at 9:30 AM in the White Hall Classroom Building, with registration running from 8:00 AM to 9:15 AM. The tournament should be concluded by 5:00 PM.

Entry Fees / Discounts:

$15 per player
-$5 per fully functioning buzzer system
-$10 per 200 miles traveled (one way)
-$10 if your college did not attend any tournaments in the 2015-2016 school year
Minimum fee: $10 per player

If your team expects to have financial difficulties, please let us know. We're more than happy to work something out with you.

Eligibility Rules:

There are no official eligibility rules for this tournament, but keep in mind that this set is oriented towards introducing less experienced players and teams to college quiz bowl. We ask that teams use their best judgment in deciding which players would be considered "novice." If you have any questions about this, feel free to ask us.
