The Ohio State Academic Team is pleased to announce a mirror of the Eisenhower Memorial Tournament (full announcement at http://www.hsquizbowl.org/forums/viewto ... =8&t=19515).
This will be an undergraduate tournament, with difficulty aiming for markedly easier than regular. We encourage any eligible teams (so... pretty much everyone) to attend!
Note: High school teams are eligible for this tournament, and we look forward to seeing some of Ohio's best.

I will be serving as tournament director.

Base fee: $100
Working Buzzer Discount: -$5
Staffer Discount: -$10 (note: subject to approval)
Travel discount: -$10 (over 200 miles)

I think April 1 would be good depending on the status of this tournament. We are definitely interested in attending though our final exams are during the first week in May so that April 29 date is probably not doable.

April 1 is slightly preferable, but any of those dates should work for CMU (assuming we have enough money left over after ICT travel). Our finals don't start until 5/8 so 4/29 is definitely okay.

4/1 is the best date for Kentucky. We're hosting a high school tournament on 4/15 and 4/29 is the weekend before our finals week.

Truman State's ranked preferences for this tournament are (1) April 1 for irony, (2) April 29 since we have finals two weeks later, making the week after April 29 our hell week, and (3) April 15 since we have many players who live nowhere near Ohio that will want to be at their homes on Easter Sunday.

Barring objections, this tournament will almost certainly be on April 1. Will confirm the date shortly unless I hear outcry otherwise.

Hey all,

Due to the nefarious machinations of the OSU scheduling department, it now seems like it will be very difficult to hang on to a suitable set of rooms for April 1. Since this weekend worked so well for everyone, rather than move the tournament to another week, I'm inclined to host it Sunday (for which we have already preemptively secured rooms).

Does that work for people? I actually think this will work better for a few hs teams/Michigan, but I'd like to confirm it doesn't cause problems for others.

With this tournament about a week and a half away, I wanted to remind teams to shoot me an email registering (anyone listed in the field is officially registered, so you're good). I've heard interest from other schools, but am still waiting for confirmations.

I imagine we'll just do a full round robin right? We'd like to get back to East Lansing at a reasonable time so this would work best for us. Ultimately you make the final call though.

This tournament will take place in the Enarson Classroom Building, with registration starting at 8:30 in Room 230. Rounds will start at 9:00 AM sharp.

The best place to park is the Tuttle Garage at 2050 Tuttle Park Pl.

A logistics email detailing the schedule, etc. should have been received by all teams, so please contact me ASAP if you didn't get one.

Michigan defeated OSU B in the second game of an advantaged final to win the OSU site of EMT. Full stats will be up shortly.
