Oxford American Tournament @ Stanford, 3/19

Hi there,

Stanford University will be hosting a mirror the Oxford American Tournament (OAT) on March 19, 2017 (note that this is a Sunday). The field cap is set at 8 teams. It'll be an open tournament, so anyone can play - high schoolers, old folks, chimera teams, etc. To sign up, email me (Nathan Weiser) at [email protected], specifying the number of teams you intend to register as well as what school you represent, if any. Single players looking for teammates are encouraged to do so by posting in this thread.

Fee structure:
Base fee: $120 per team, $40 minimum (to cover the mirror fee)
Buzzer discount: $10 per working buzzer set (capped at three buzzers)
Approved moderator discount: $50 per approved moderator
Travel discount: $10 if your trip is more than 200 miles one way (according to Google Maps)

Saratoga HS (1 team)

The field cap is unlikely to change, due to room availability. Not that we've had many tournaments that were bigger than that in our region this year.

Stanford beat Berkeley A in the first round of an advantage final to win this tournament. Thanks to all the players who came out to participate, thanks to our moderators Dennis Sun and Neil Gurram, and thanks to Oxford for writing the set.
