With an impressive 14-1 record, USC won the inaugural Orange County Area Summer Quiz Extravaganza (OCASQUE) held on June 2nd on the campus of UC-Irvine.

For all ye people who weren't there...
Stanford didn't show up (there was probably a breakdown in communication), so instead of everybody having three bye rounds, we decided to split the UCI house team (plus two free agents) into three teams. That way we had a full triple round robin without byes. Hopefully everybody went home happy as a result.
The TD Ray did a great job keeping the tournament on schedule despite an inauspicious beginning (teams arriving late due to parking issues). For future consideration--avoid scheduling a tournament the same time as graduation.
We'll save the jokes and the "worst neg" stories until all the mirrors are finished.
