TRASH Southwest Regionals (11/10/07) in Dallas

On the weekend of Nov 10th and 11th, Texas Quiz Bowl Alliance will host editions of both TRASH Regionals and ACF Fall in Dallas. TRASH will be held on Saturday and ACF Fall will be held on Sunday.

Entry fees for each tournament will be $95 with a $10 discount for a buzzer and an additional $20 discount for entering both tournaments. Therefore one team entering both tournaments with a buzzer will pay $150.

TRASH is open to all teams; ACF Fall is open to school based teams, though we are open to possible non-school teams. To register please email [email protected].

I'm well aware of the regional site in DFW. The team took the distance into consideration when voting which regional to attend.

More information:

The event will take place on the campus of UT-Dallas.

LSU, Oklahoma, Texas, Texas A&M, TCU and UT-Dallas have each signed up at least one team as of 11/1.

The tournament will take place on Saturday beginning at 9:00 a.m. in the Classroom building at UTD.

It's going to the Classroom Building (CB).

Brief Results: The Bill O'Reilly team went undefeated today during the prelim round robin then defeated LSU in an advantaged final to claim the Regionals title in the Southwest. LSU came in second, followed by OU A and the Aglets. Full stats to come later.
