CANCELLED: Buzzerfest Mirror at Notre Dame (3/28/09)

The University of Notre Dame is pleased to announce that it will be hosting a mirror of Princeton’s Buzzerfest on March 28th. We will be coming up with an interesting name hopefully soon, but that it less important right now.

Buzzerfest is a regular difficulty, packet submission tournament. Please look in the main thread for the distribution and formatting information. After talking with Kunle, we have decided that attending teams will not be required to write a packet. However, if you want to, I'm sure he would appreciate it.

Fee structure:
$100 per team
-$5 for a working buzzer system
-$10 for a competent staffer
-$10 per 200 miles of travel
-$5 for a working laptop
Maximum discount: $35
High school teams, however, will receive a $45 discount regardless of the other ones.

People, please sign up for this. Like, if I count the house teams, then we will have 2-3 right now, with two more expressing interest. If I can't get more confirmed, then I'm going to have to cancel this.

Due to lack of interest (resulting from spring breaks and high school tournaments), this is postponed/cancelled. We may try to run this at a date between ICT and ACF Nats, but no promises at this point.

So, the school won't let me run anything Easter weekend, and April 18th is the spring football game, during which it would be highly inadvisable to run anything, so this is just not going to happen. Sorry.
