Not to spam this thread, since I wrote mine mainly for my own sanity and not for glory and riches, but it seems that many stats issues (lost scoresheets/SQBS file on a flash drive that someone accidentally took to Spain/moderators running scoresheets to the stats room) could be avoided by trying one of the live online systems. Here at UCLA, using qbsql has made things quite pleasant stats-wise at recent tournaments, and I imagine that Taft would do the trick as well. If there's some feature that you think you need for qbsql to fit your needs, let me know, or add it yourself. For example, I think that it ought to be pretty simple to make an importer for the electronic scoresheets that have become popular.

Of course, I don't mean to drag this thread off topic, so if there is some reason that people are hesitant to try other options, I'd love to hear about it another thread or by email.
