MUT Mirror northwest on 3/20

Post by tiwonge »

Boise State University belatedly announces a mirror for the Minnesota Undergraduate Tournament to be held on March 20.

Costs are as follows:
Base: $120
Moderators: -$10
Buzzers: -$5
Travel over 200 miles according to Google maps: -$10

The tournament will probably be held in the ILC, pending arrangements.

UW will have at least 1 team. If we need more teams I might play solo as Bellevue College.

Portland State will be there with one team and no buzzers.

Also there's a small possibility that there may be a contingent from Seattle University coming.

(bump)

Tentative field:

UW: 1-2 teams
Boise State: 1-2 teams
Portland State: 1 team
Possibly 1 team from Bellvue, if needed.

Still waiting to hear from Whitman and Washington State. I had heard that Whitman was interested, but this isn't confirmed.

Not coming:
BYU

I also made arrangements for a place to sleep, as long as you don't mind sleeping on couches or the floor.

We're having issues with this mirror in the northwest. Portland State can't come to Boise, either.

So, either we have it in Boise with just 4 or 5 people from Seattle coming in to play, or we have it at UW with Portland State possibly coming but maybe nobody from Boise coming to play (maybe, maybe not; nobody here has yet said they'd go to Seattle), we have it at a later date at some indeterminate time, or we don't have it.
