Boston/ NE/ Something summer practices

Post by Mechanical Beasts » Tue May 04, 2010 10:53 pm

I'm going to be in Cambridge for the summer. I imagine some people are going to be at Brown, at Yale, at BU, at MIT, at wherever. Let's set up some summer practices to stay sharp. They can even rotate locations a little to even out the commuter rail fare.

I'll be at Brown; I'd enjoy coming up to Boston occasionally.

So, I'm in Boston this week. Anyone interested in some quizbowl?

I'll be in Boston next week. Would it be okay to see what the world of college quizbowl is like?

Well, I think Andy and I are the only two quizbowlers in Boston at the moment, so as of next week, the world of college quizbowl will be mostly "Andy goes to lab" and "Hannah packets for medical school."

Hey, so Christoph, Daniel Chupin, and I are in Boston right now as well... I think we'll be leaving on Friday-ish and will have work to do up until Thursday, so we were wondering if people would be up for a Thursday afternoon practice somewhere, perhaps?

That day is converging for everyone. There are plenty of free classrooms in the science center. I'm sure we could choose one of them. That work for you guys?

Why don't we all meet outside the Harvard science center at 5:30? There are definitely free classrooms there, one of which we could take over. I'm making cookies.
