Where do I get Anderson Officiator 10 Buzzers?

Post by hornetvtol »

So I'm the captain of a team, and we are currently using a really bad buzzer system provided by our school district. We want to upgrade to a better system, preferably the Anderson Officiator 10 (img here for those who don't know the name).

The cost is a bit prohibitive ($235) as I'm paying for it out of pocket. Does anyone know whether there's somewhere I can get it cheaper, or if not, a better suggestion?
Thanks.

I don't think that there is anywhere that you can get this system for cheaper, but I was able to find an 8-player lockout buzzer system on ebay for $115 + $35 shipping.

Buzzers are expensive & the Andersons are on the cheaper end while still being a great system.

Try finding some used.

Can your teammates chip in so you can split the price? Often the buzzer discount you'll get from bringing buzzers to tournaments will "pay back" the initial cost of the system.

Also consider applying for a buzzer system from Matt's Buzzers. (You may already have one now, but this is an option for teams reading this thread and looking for one in the future.)

They're not the best for tournament play, but you can also consider PACEBuzz: http://www.pace-nsc.org/pacebuzz/
