A Bedside Companion to the History of Quizbowl Art

Post by Smuttynose Island »

I am in the middle of completing a fairly hard packet on underrepresented art in the quizbowl canon. The packet will consist of somewhere between 20 and 30 tossups primarily focused on art produced by groups that are frequently underrepresented in the quizbowl canon. Some questions will focus on underasked subject areas. The target distribution is roughly as follows:

Pre-1800s Western: 15%
Post-1800s Western: 35%
Pre-1900s World: 15%
Post-1900s World: 35%

My goal is to have the packet ready by mid-April.

I am glad that this is happening in time for my temporary crawl out of retirement.

I will read this packet next week. Please mark your availability down here so that I can pick a time that works best for everyone.

Final distribution is:

Pre-1800s Western: 3/0
Post-1800s Western: 9/0
Pre-1900s Non-Western: 2/0
Post-1900s Non-Western: 6/0

Total: 20/0

Difficulty is "adventurous," but I'm sure you all will kill it.
