I've been working on a non-quiz bowl project and am trying to finish that.

Since it's October 8th, doing pre-season rankings doesn't seem to make much sense.

You can expect rankings to begin around the start of November.

I just finished writing my non-quiz bowl project that was keeping me from working on the rankings.

This year's first set of rankings will be done by the end of this month.

I've added all of those and have tried to find all the other Sun God/Penn Bowl/ACF Fall high school teams. I have one EFT stat line, so that tournament will likely not have an adjustment.

The A-set adjustment is now complete.

Is it intentional that the All-World teams are in reverse order from usual?

Can you please post the code you used to calculate these adjustments and rankings? I think this work should be easily reproducible to make sure it is 100 percent accurate.

It’s not code, it’s an Excel sheet where I hand calculate the adjustments. I’d be happy to post the stats I have collected, though.

In the future, I'd recommend doing any statistical calculations in a modern language like R or Stata. It's a lot easier to replicate work there as Excel syntax can get long. Excel is not build for statistical analysis and it certainly is not good for database work. A modern statistical language can allow the workflow to also be seamlessly integrated with a web scraper or html/json reader which will allow the workflow to scale. Ideally, something like R can make the data look "tidy" as each row of the data will be one team-tournament performance (e.g. Id: Central High School || Kickoff Tournament) and you can run a query down the names to compile season long stats.

I don't believe this level of sarcasm is warranted when I used the word "recommend." I think me and the rest of the community want HSQBRank to keep happening in the future, and I think we are entitled to offer meager suggestions.
