The 22nd Annual Fleming County Academic Tournament will be held January 8, 2022 at Fleming County High School (Kentucky). We plan to host the event in person.
We hope to get a question set assignment from NAQT. The format will be modified to reflect a hybrid of Kentucky's Governor's Cup format. We will use 36 toss up per match with single part bounce back bonuses. Teams are guaranteed six games, with a seventh round to determine champions and 3rd place finishers.
As in previous years We will seek PACE affiliation.
The tournament will consist of a varsity division and a "B" division. We do have cap of 32 teams.
Morning round robin brackets will be used to seed afternoon brackets.
Entry fee for a school's first team is $70. Additional teams from a school may enter for $40. We ask that schools currently limit entry to no more than 3 teams at this point. That number may expand, depending on available room.
