Help NAQT collect conversion data

Post by Important Bird Area » Tue Oct 26, 2010 9:45 pm

Greg Bossick wrote:If anyone has an NAQT event coming up, or if you have scoresheets from a previous one that you can part with, please PM me for my mailing address so that you can send those scoresheets to me. I handle the data entry for the conversion stats, and would greatly appreciate any work you can send my way. Thanks!

Clarification from R. with some of the requirements for this data to be useful:

1. Skip tossup lines when tossups go unanswered and put a slash through the tossup number.

2. If you skipped questions during play (to remove computation, for instance), let us know so the conversion data is accurate rather than garbled.

3. If questions get read out of order in a fixable way; add a little note like "Skipped tossup 7; lines 7-20 are questions 8-21."

4. Make sure bonuses are read in order.

I just wanted to take a moment and thank the University of Michigan and Novi HS for sending me scoresheets from their most recent tournaments. I hope to receive more as 2011 progresses.

Are you interested in a very small number of stats? Like, I have results for just my room from IHSSBCA Kickoff at Wheaton North, and can give you the same for this weekend's IHSSBCA Turnabout. So I'm basically wondering if you want those given that they won't give you the sample over a whole tournament.

Some stats are better than no stats!

Thanks, Jonah. The sheets came out great and all the data has been gathered. I'll be uploading it to NAQT soon.
