Post by Dominator »

I've launched a new quizbowl podcast called Tossup 21. It's about quizbowl stories and the people who lived them.

The first episode features an interview with David Reinstein. Please give it a listen and let me know what you think.

I love it! The unique concept, simplistic feel and good (imo) quality makes this a home run for me. HUGE recommend for those who haven’t listened yet. Keep up the good work, Noah, and I’m looking forward to more episodes!

Episode #5 is out now. It features a continuation of our interview with Alex Damisch talking about misconduct in the community and staffing national tournaments, followed by quizbowl speed runs.

You can find links to it here, or search for it on Apple Podcasts, Google Play, or Spotify. (There might be a delay with it showing up on Apple and Google. You won't have that problem if you subscribe.)

Episode #6 featuring Mike Cheyne is out now. It's still available on Apple Podcasts and Spotify, but it's moved from Google Play to Google Podcasts. You can find links here.

(If you're not seeing it on Apple or Google yet, that's because you're not subscribed. Why not fix that?)

I’ve really enjoyed all the Tossup 21 episodes, but Episode 7 was so great that it finally pulled me out of posting hibernation to say so. This episode is so insightful about how to put together a good team as an authority figure and a professional, and I absolutely love Coach Bowen.
