Quiz Bowl at UC Irvine is pleased to announce UC Irvine Fall Invitational, a college level tournament.

DATE/TIME: UC Irvine Fall Invitational will take place on November 18, 2017. Check-in begins at 8:00 A.M., and rounds start at 9:00 A.M. We hope to end the tournament by around 5 - 6 P.M. including finals rounds if necessary.

There will be separate College Novice and College Varsity divisions: the College Novice will be using a collegiate novice packet (details about the set can be seen https://www.naqt.com/college/collegiate ... eries.html, more coming soon), and the College Varsity division will be a mirror of the 2017 Penn Bowl set.

To be eligible for the College Novice division, all players on the team must have:
-Enrolled in a post-secondary institution
-̶S̶c̶o̶r̶e̶d̶ ̶l̶e̶s̶s̶ ̶t̶h̶a̶n̶ ̶2̶5̶ ̶p̶p̶g̶ ̶a̶t̶ ̶a̶ ̶n̶a̶t̶i̶o̶n̶a̶l̶ ̶t̶o̶u̶r̶n̶a̶m̶e̶n̶t̶ ̶(̶P̶A̶C̶E̶ ̶o̶r̶ ̶H̶S̶N̶C̶T̶)̶
-Scored less than 35 ppg at a national tournament (PACE or HSNCT)

High School students may play or staff in the College Varsity division (Chimera teams are welcomed), but are not allowed to do so in the College Novice division as a very similar set will be used later this year in the High School circuit.

LOCATION: UC Irvine Fall Invitational will take place at the student center of the University of California, Irvine, located at 311 W Peltason Dr, Irvine, CA 92697. Check in for the College Novice division will be at Moss Cove A, and the one for the College Varsity division will be at Moss Cove B. A map of campus can be found here: http://www.studentcenter.uci.edu/wp-con ... level.pdf.
