I am pleased to announce that the University of Minnesota-Twin Cities will be hosting a Collegiate Novice Invitational on October 3, 2020. The tournament will run completely online and use NAQT's IS-195 set. Check-in will begin at 8:30 AM with play starting promptly at 9:00 AM.
Registration
Please email [email protected] with the number of teams your school is bringing, the roster of individuals on each team, and any discounts you wish to claim (to be announced).
Fees
Base fee: $30 per team.
Staffer discount: -$5 per staffer with Zoom and NAQT accounts
Eligibility
We do not intend on placing any written rules about eligibility amongst college individuals. However, we do ask that collegiate teams realize that this tournament is intended for those who are new to quizbowl and create their rosters with this in mind. With that said, the University of Minnesota Quizbowl Team reserves full rights to bar any proposed teams that go against the spirit and purpose of a novice tournament.
