This iteration of the set will expand on the work done in WORKSHOP 2021 and WORKSHOP 2020 and aims to once again provide a high-quality set at 3 dots on the college quiz bowl calendar’s difficulty scale. For an idea of the difficulty, please consult the questions of 2021 WORKSHOP (either in the discussion forum or on the archive, once it is clear) and recent iterations of ACF Regionals. Our goal is to provide an avenue for newer writers to get experience with writing questions at regular-difficulty and receive detailed feedback on their work, and to provide quiz bowlers with an opportunity to receive similar experience working on the administration, logistics, and finance of running a set.
We have continued to learn from the previous iterations on the set and build on feedback from the whole team and hope that we'll be able to provide an even better experience for everyone.

Payment Structure
We will set aside 25% of all proceeds for set-wide work: dealing with mirrors, keeping track of payments, billing hosts, proofreading, packetizing, wrangling writers (enforcing deadlines) etc.
For questions, we'll be using a slightly modified version of the “points system” from previous years:
5 points given out per tossup, 4 points per bonus.
3 points to the writer for writing a tossup, 2 points for a bonus.
The remaining points will go to the editor of that question.
The 75% of non-set-wide revenue will then be divided up based exclusively on the percentage of total points a writer or editor receives.
Based off compensation from the 2021 iteration of the set, we project that writers will receive roughly $4 per tossup and $2.75 per bonus.
Planned Timeline
We anticipate having all question-writing done by January, and the set completed by early February.
Applications for writers are now open: https://forms.gle/dxYQH7druVPVqcpTA. Please note that we will not be accepting high school students as writers this year.
The application will close on
