INTEREST POLL: Terrapin mirror on Qblitz

Post by Dominator » Sun Mar 10, 2019 2:28 pm

The writing team at Terrapin and Qblitz are considering running an online Terrapin mirror on the Qblitz platform. We would run this event in the leadup to HSNCT to let any college players who weren't able to make a live mirror an opportunity to play and also to give high schoolers an extra pre-nats challenge. The main concern at this point is whether there are still enough people who haven't played it to make the event worthwhile.

If the event did run, the format would probably consist of playing 40 tossups per round, with 1 round a day from May 13 to May 17. The cost would probably be $25/person.

If you have any interest in playing, please indicate it in the poll. Thanks!

Thanks to everyone who voted. We've decided to move forward with this event. You should see an announcement up later today.

As a reminder, if there are any other events you'd like to play from home against quizbowlers across the country, please email us at buzz@qblitz.org to let us know.
