ACF Gameplay Rules Changes

Post by caroline »

Hello,

ACF has made several changes to its gameplay rules. Please note that these rules will be in effect for 2021 ACF Nationals. All teams have been emailed with the rules update.

The summary of important changes to the ACF gameplay rules is as follows:
- Players may now add a leading article to a title where none exists. (G.7)
- Removed the requirement that protests on questions in the first half be lodged at halftime. (H.3)
- Codified acceptance of subsets of a set in the correctness guidelines. This change is of specific relevance to the protest committee, and should not affect gameplay. (G.19)

The rest of the changes are minor wording and formatting changes that should not affect gameplay, but the full diff is available on Github if you are interested.
