As of right now, we have 8-10 teams from 6 schools who have emailed me and said they will come. Of course, some teams could drop but its more likely that more teams will express interest between now and October, so it looks like this tournament is going to happen!

Yeah... good luck with it. I would hope there would be a few more teams though I don't know that part of New York well.

Ok, NAQT has changed our set, we will be using IS-80A instead. Note that this is the same as LIFT, at Kellenberg, on October 18.
Also, if you want to register, please visit our new website, http://www.rso.cornell.edu/cuquizbowl. Click on the Cayuga Championship for more information as well as the registration form.

Hmmmmm.
Our adviser this year seems willing to travel, but I still gotta check things to see if we can even go to this. It's better for us though as LIFT is Homecoming.

Well, heh, I have to once again announce a packet change. We will now be using IS-77, so now the nearest tournament to us using our questions will be Princeton's PHSAT, and we WON'T be using the same questions as LIFT.
Sorry, Nick (assuming you're going to Princeton's tournament).
Although if enough people prefer it, I could change the packet to IS-79(used by Rutgers) or even back to IS-80A. Anyone?

Yeah, now our chances of coming (Using either IS packet) is pretty much zero.
80A would allow us to possibly come.

If you change to packet IS-79, then we will have no conflicts and, to the best of our ability, we will be there...with multiple teams!!!

If it's 79 we may be able to attend, as I have no clue what Rutgers is doing and we may be going to Harvard anyways.

Dolgeville has two teams coming-- regardless of the set used. Our Geek Wars is using 73A, so it's not a conflict with any of this year's sets.

I've asked NAQT about it, but they haven't responded yet. But I think we'll get the set, unless Rutgers claimed NY exclusivity.

Rutgers has purchased exclusivity for NY. Oh well.

Disappointed to not see more of the STAC Schools there (Vestal, Horseheads, Elmira, Maine-Endwell, etc.)

Barry-
On behalf of New Rochelle HS, we had a blast at your tournament. Not only was it very well-run, it provided sets of questions with just the right amount of difficulty. Would have liked to have seen more teams from far away (like us), in order to provide a variety of competition, but not everything can be perfect. Overall, you can reserve a spot for us next year, and every single one of us who played this year will be back to revenge our finals loss to Ithaca, we guarantee that
