I am so sorry, I left your team out Nalin. Couldn't get the file to post right so I must have copied and psted ten times and i kept screwing up the layout and format. I must have missed yours during the process. George and Jeff helped repost stats in full. My apologies, Nalin.

I'm not sure which thread this goes in, but:

There was a ton of hand-wringing about how this tournament would go, but it actually went really well. Ruby and Joey were both very open to listening to suggestions and everything ended up for the best because of it (and actually very few suggestions were necessary). I shudder to think what would have happened had some extra moderators not been drummed up in these last few days - they were pretty much without exception the best moderators here - and even then it wasn't enough to keep DII from having a few really slow rooms. So starting earlier getting staff is a concern for future years, but otherwise I don't think Region 8 should worry if these people win a bid again.

Thank you very much for the input, Michael. We had quite the amount of experienced moderators at one point, and they began to have a few personal conflicts and then the last days of registration, more teams signed up. Thank you very much to NAQT and especially the participating schools for helping us gather the extra moderators. I know we can now contact Mitchell, Kory, and Ray (sp? sorry) for future events as well as a few others. Thank you also to Joey who was able to gather much of her staff and train them on scorekeeping and refresh moderating for some. We did our best during crunch time. I am Region 8 Coordinator again next year and would really like to do this again. I learned quite a bit and I will make it my mission to surpass what we accomplish the previous years.
Thank you all for filling out our survey, but we were also really hoping to get back the moderator feedback sheets. I only received one. They should have been inside your team packets. I know most of the complaints were about the moderators, but without those sheets we cannot eliminate the appropriate ones for next time around. If the team captains could collect filled out evaluations I can pick them all up if you are a local school such as IIT, U of C, or Northwestern, etc. Or please feel free to email scanned copies to [email protected] or snail mail them:

http://naqt.com/stats/tournament-teams. ... nt_id=3193 has the tournament as a sort of combined field - could you fix this, NAQT folks?
