Thanks, but my brother wound up switching his day and night weeks, so I won't be heading out for this.Bentley Like Beckham wrote:If you want to just sleep at the hotel on Friday night we will likely have room for you in our room.vandyhawk wrote:I might be available for this. I'm staying with my brother in Wicker Park, but he has to work Friday night. I would be considerably more excited about it if it turns out someone is driving back into the city afterward and I wouldn't have to take a 35 minute El ride home after midnight, only to turn around and get back on at like 7 AM. Also, unless you guys want me working on this rather than ICT, I won't be able to do much, if anything, in the writing department.
Also, since it looks like we'll only have 5 teams, I'm going to push this back to 9:30 PM on Friday in order to give people some more time to get to the hotel. If you're playing in this tournament and that start time is still too early for you, let me know and maybe we can arrange it so that your team has the first bye.
To make things simple, we'll all meet in the lobby starting at 9:15 PM and figure out the rooms and schedule. If there's enough interest amongst peole who didn't write packets we will have a second bracket, although you will have to pay a small fee to play.

Agh, read that is "my brother wound up having stitches" and was super confused.vandyhawk wrote:Thanks, but my brother wound up switching his day and night weeks, so I won't be heading out for this.Bentley Like Beckham wrote:If you want to just sleep at the hotel on Friday night we will likely have room for you in our room.vandyhawk wrote:I might be available for this. Regarding packets: Just send them to me at [email protected]. If you can't get them to me by 11:00 AM Pacific tomorrow make sure you have them with you on a flash drive. Make sure your packet has been randomized and has super powers and powers marked.
By the way, I've given Jerry's team the first bye so that he'll have some more time to get to the hotel.

One more thing: If your packet has a theme that you care to mention before the packet is read, make sure to put that explanation at the top of the packet.

Everything in power should be bolded. Put some symbol (I think the standard is an arrow, but it doesn't really matter so long as you're consistent) where the super power ends.Whig's Boson wrote:How should we mark powers and superpowers?

Re: GUERRILLA II - 4/9/10 - Chicago
I would be delighted to be the fourth player on any almost complete team; otherwise, I would be happy to read. Any extra fees would be no problem for me as usual.

Hey, is the group of pay-to-play people definitely going to be allowed in the tournament?

Hey, we'll be there very shortly, we're in our hotel right now randomizing our packet.

Is there anyway the packets can be put in a zip file. I mean I am having an extremely hard time with opening the file they are currently in.

This was the most genial, fun bunch of qb matches I've ever attended, and just want to thank everyone who put in time on it.
