Dates for next year's ACF regionals and nationals

In 2006, ACF regionals will be held on February 4. Next year's ACF nationals will be held on April 8. Locations for both tournaments will be announced in the future, as will a date for ACF fall.

From the NAQT webpage: "The ICT will be held the weekend of April 7-8, 2006..." I see a bit of a problem there.

On another note, who are some likely candidates to take over ACF Fall after the tragedy with Matt C.?

I would find an April 1, 2006 ACF Nationals most humorous.

I recommend the weekend of November 5 for ACF Fall Tournament.

Thanks to everyone who noted that we had overlooked NAQT's announcement of April 7-8 as the date for the 2006 ICT. (Curse their confusing web site! They fooled us with great success by hiding the date behind a link marked "2005 SCT Host Call.") In fact, next year's ACF nationals will be held on the auspicious date of April 1, unless there's some major event being held on that day which we have also managed to overlook.

Also, we'll be announcing the editing teams for next year's ACF tournaments in the near future.
