There is no way for this to be a HSNCT qualifier as well, right? Just curious. Thanks.

But you can play in this, do well and apply for a Wildcard application. It's not guaranteed though. http://www.naqt.com/hsnct/qualification.htmlColdblueberry wrote:Only NAQT tournaments -> HSNCT.highwind wrote:There is no way for this to be a HSNCT qualifier as well, right? Just curious. Thanks.

I think Irvine is probably only going to be able to bring 1 team to this tournament - many others have Science Olympiad duties this weekend.

Is this still using the RM/TP set, or are you switching to LIST/RAVE/some other housewrite?

Re: Torrey Pines Open Tournament II (02/25/12)
This is a good question. It's actually not even a matter of "oh oh oh mirror RAVE," because I would imagine that the probability of a switch to LIST is higher; rather, this is just something you should address (given what RM decided on) and for which you should take the necessary steps, if you are indeed making the switch. Of course, Ben, there's always just the possibility that they'll stick with the original set.Tommy Tutone 2 wrote:Is this still using the RM/TP set, or are you switching to LIST/RAVE/some other housewrite?

Re: Torrey Pines Open Tournament II (02/25/12)
Both LIST and RAVE are excellent sets, but I believe they cater to different audiences, with LIST being a little easier and meant for newer teams. Just something to keep in mind if you haven't decided yet.

Yeah, this is correct. This is also why I mentioned the higher likelihood of TP mirroring LIST above.King of Carrot Flowers wrote:Both LIST and RAVE are excellent sets, but I believe they cater to different audiences, with LIST being a little easier and meant for newer teams. The housewrite was used. After hours of editing, we produced a playable set that was well-received by the teams who attended.
