Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
Arcadia is definitely interested and will probably send 4-7 teams, along with our two buzzer sets. I'll get the finalized info to you by email about a week before 11/17.
It's nice to see an LA tournament this year that Arcadia isn't hosting

From my understanding HSAPQ sets are qualifiers for PACE. I will keep you posted on what percentage of teams qualify when i find out the exact data.

Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
We have not run into a problem of that sort yet. In theory the cap will be 20-24 teams depending on whether the administration will allow us to use multiple floors. I would be overjoyed if we had that problem, but judging by the field at ATLAS, we probably will not have a problem. I can give you an official figure tomorrow or tuesday when we turn in the list of all the rooms we would use.DJCocoPuffs wrote:Will there be any kind of field cap for this tournament?

4) With two buzzers (plus the distance discount) $275

Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
Thank you to everyone that has responded with the number of teams that will attend.
To answer the question as to what the cap will be, we have decided that the cap will be 24 teams with the possibility, if there is interest, to expand to 32 teams.

Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
How are you guys doing on buzzers and moderators, and have you contacted other LA schools (Palos Verdes, Chadwick, SaMo, etc.)?
Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
It would be a good idea to have the field update in the original post and just update it whenever you get new teams to sign up. That way people don't have to scroll down every time and you don't need to write the filed update independently every time.

Here's a brief recap of the results I saw on the board when we were leaving the tournament. If you have any corrections to make, anything you want to add, or when you release the stats, let me know and I'll add it to the write-up.
Thanks for hosting!

Re: North Hollywood HS Tournament (N.O.H.O)
I suppose it's worth noting that the standings in those stats are in the wrong order because the championship and consolation brackets got merged, but the other stats look accurate. Thanks for hosting!
