STIMPY Skype Mirror (4/11)

Post by Gonzagapuma1 »

Hello!

I'm looking to gauge interest in a STIMPY Skype mirror. Right now, I think the easiest date for this is on 4/11. We didn't receive that many packets from teams, so it's possible this could be an open mirror. HOWEVER, if there is any way you can attend a mirror in person/have signed up to play an in person mirror, you cannot play this mirror. Anyway, if you are interested in either a non-open mirror OR an open mirror please indicate so by posting here or emailing me at danjpuma at gmail.com. Thanks!

EDIT: More info in fourth post. It is an open mirror with a fee of $15 per person and a minimum fee of $30 per team.

Field:
J&J
Sethlene
Stanford (1)
UCLA-ish(1)
Washington (2)
WUSTL (2)

Alright, I'll go ahead and make this an open mirror on 4/11. The cost will be $15 a player, with a minimum fee of $30 per team. Email me to officially register. Thanks!

I think there's enough interest for a McGill current + alumni team. Will confirm when I can.

Stanford is interested (we are unable to attend the Caltech mirror on 4/25 because we'll be helping out with Admit Weekend as part of the stewardship we're required to do in exchange for club funding). I will edit this post when I have specifics. EDIT: A Stanford team consisting of Stephen Liu, Dennis Sun, Kyle Sutherlin, and myself will be playing this tournament.

There will definitely be 1 team of UW-associated people, possibly 2. Will confirm the 2nd team soon.

Hey, I'd like to get a clear idea of the number of teams, so, if you haven't already, please email me at danjpuma at gmail.com to confirm your number of teams. Also, I don't know how many free agents there are, but you guys should find teams.

I think we could use 1-2 extra teammates for the second UW team, so if you're interested please shoot me an e-mail.

If I'm running the UK mirror of this in late May but haven't received the packets yet then I'm still eligible for this right?
If so, I'd like to play. I can do chemistry and fraud other science and myth, and owing to time difference I'll be basically useless after round 7.

When do you plan on starting? We'd appreciate a 9:30 eastern start time rather than 8:30 or 9:00 but can deal if necessary.

Actually, I would have to miss a few rounds of this (no more than 90 minutes at most) for my jazz band's practice. I'd still love to play but if Dan or my teammates veto it i won't object.

EDIT: This is no longer an issue. I should be able to make the whole shebang.
