Re: Postseason Poll
I will try my best to go out and vote for it this time, but I have one question. When it comes to B teams, what should I do? Should I go with the most consistent B team roster all year round, or the best roster that a side could have? Because for some teams (like Berkeley B) this could have a significantly different answer.

Re: Postseason Poll
Peter, I'd personally vote for the strongest possible combination of the B team that played tournaments this year. Berkeley B, for example, would probably be the ICT team and not the ACF Nationals team I'd consider when making out my ballot.

Re: Postseason Poll
Does anybody happen to know what teams were playing shorthanded at either tournament?
William & Mary was missing Alex Frey at ICT and James Cole at Nats, so we didn't have our full A team at either.

Re: Postseason Poll
Minnesota split its regular A team at ICT between DI and DII (and achieved 20th in DI and 17th in DII); I would venture that the t9th place finish at Nats is roughly indicative of their full team's strength.

At ACF Nationals, Ottawa was notably missing Dennis Beeby, who put up a PPG 3/4 that of Jordan Palmer's at ICT.

Re: Postseason Poll
McGill's history/math/econ/art player, Sam Baker, couldn't play this year because he forgot to apply for his student visa.
We replaced him with Daniel Lovsted (our top DII scorer) for ACF Regionals, but he couldn't make it to Nats.

Re: Postseason Poll
Nobody's ranking us anyway, but I swear that my other teammates have been busy this year and will play MUT with me. Probably. Maybe.
I also swear I'm not terrible at hypothetically playing hard questions.

Harvard was missing SRIRAAAAAAM at ICT, resulting in a 90% reduction in maidens swooning during Harvard games.

Re: Postseason Poll
I think DII ICT champion Texas should at least be up for consideration, considering Chicago B and Stanford B are both in the OP.

Re: Postseason Poll
this might be the case, but the difference between these teams is that ACF Nats vs ICT, both Chicago B and Stanford B had an additional player who wasn't DII eligible, and in both cases said player led their team in scoringMnemosyne wrote:I think DII ICT champion Texas should at least be up for consideration, considering Chicago B and Stanford B are both in the OP.

Re: Postseason Poll
FWIW, Texas A&M only had two members of the A team at ICT (and one of those was playing DII). The only tournament where our full A team played was ACF Regionals.Frauny Von Smiley wrote:Does anybody happen to know what teams were playing shorthanded at either tournament?

Why vote for any of the Texas teams when you can just toss my team your 25th place vote as a retirement gift? Sounds like a better plan to me!

Do the lack of lows for some teams mean that some voters didn't put the team on their ballots?
