There's an NHBB tournament at Princeton on the same day that probably limits the amount of teams that can come to this. If the field size remains this small, it may be a good idea to look into rescheduling. (I don't either 12/12 or 12/19 have been claimed yet.)

Agreed.

From the looks of it, there aren't any Tri-State Area quizbowl tournaments from after Nov. 21 to Jan. 23 (Columbia BISB). A December tournament would tide us over during that period of time!

I would like to thank the people posting in this space! If I would have know in June that this date had a history bee, I would have never selected the date! Next year I will book that first weekend in December!!! We are currently sitting at the amount of teams worth going through the tournament!

To be fair, this tournament was announced a month and a half before the NHBB tournament, but yes, it does seem like Dave Madden will claim the Saturday before Thanksgiving every season for the foreseeable future.

Manheim A won the tournament, going a perfect 10-0. Millburn A came in second at 9-1. Their final came down to the last question, with Manheim correctly answering and winning 305-240. Manheim B came in 3rd place, while Kellenberg A came in 4th.

Notable Performances:

Michael Tai of Millburn was the top scorer with 73 PPG. Sora Nithikasem and Jake Deerin were 2nd and 3rd. Marvin Yu of Tenafly Middle School was the 8th leading scorer at 44 ppg.
