Great Valley High School will be hosting the third annual Great Valley Tournament on February 20, 2016. All teams interested in attending should contact Great Valley Quiz Bowl Coach Bernard McCauley ([email protected]) for more information and details on registering.

Divisions: Open and Novice
Registration Fees: $75 for first team, $60 for subsequent teams
Discounts: $10 for experienced moderators, $5 for working buzzer systems, additional discounts for teams traveling long distances or new to quiz bowl.
Minimum fee per team: $50
Field Cap (may expand with moderator confirmations): 42 Teams
Lunch Info: Great Valley will offer lunch on-site, though there are options for teams to go to that are roughly 10 minutes from GVHS. This information will be relayed in more further detail through email communication with registered teams.

Tentative Schedule
8:00 AM--Registration
8:30-8:45 AM--Welcome/Moderator Meeting
No later than 9 AM--Matches begin
11:45-12:45 Lunch (always subject to move due to scheduling)
12:45: Awards
1:00: Afternoon Rounds
Tournament should finish by 4:30, though we will aim for earlier if possible.

February 12: Final field update has been posted. Field is now set.

Later today, the logistical email for the tournament will be emailed out to all coaches, along with final invoices (all teams will be reissued one, even if your team was not impacted by the SAT date change). Email [email protected] with any questions.

Notes on the SQBS stats:
We are aware of the blank player in the Carver E&S B & Friends Select B matchup in Novice Round 1.
We are aware of the negative bonus points listed in Camp Hill's match against Unionville in the Open Division.
We are aware that a few players who were not playing were accidentally marked as in for partial games in the Novice Division.

We plan to fix all of these errors as soon as possible.
