Nats Predictions

Post by The Stately Rhododendron » Tue Apr 05, 2016 9:28 pm

A song about barley for each prediction:

I predict me and Aiden will continue our developing inter-team rapport by mouthing "nice" to each other after buzzes. - Corn rigs an' barley rigs

I will continue to get mad at people who assume interests of mine based on my unkempt, shaggy persona, only to get TUs on "Groovy Gravy," "compost," Gramsci's concept of the "organic intellectual," and "blissing out." - John Barleycorn (I assume people think this is what I am)

We will get to the upper bracket and I will SLAUGHTER on my unique subjects, only to face LETHAL COALITIONARY AGRESSION when I neg a TU on "price elasticity" with "Amantia muscaria." - The Wind that Shakes the Barley

Akhil Garg will get all 52 science questions in main D2 ICT. However, VCU will lose a tiebreaker game where he gets none.

John Lawrence is killed in a gunfight against British troops retreating from South Carolina. The war was already over. John dreamed of emancipating and recruiting 3000 men for the first all-black military regiment. His dream of freedom for those men dies with him.

Jordan is really really good. Will Jason be good enough to beat him? Find out this weekend at Augusta National.

We manage to take Chicago A to tiebreakers yet again, only to be foiled when, in a tie situation after the first two, John snags a tossup on Fawlty Towers on the first clue for the win.

Mr. Schindler first-lines a tossup on Mossack Fonseca. When asked how he got it so quickly, Max just smiles.

A team will be upset about their playoff bracket, perhaps even that of another team.
