I am very pleased to announce that the University of Virginia will be hosting a mirror of the NAQT Collegiate Novice set (IS-158C) on September 10th, 2016. Registration will take place in New Cabell Hall 323 from 8:00 AM to 8:30 AM, with games beginning at 8:45 AM sharp. The field will be tentatively capped at 12 teams, though that is likely to expand based on staffer availability.
Entry Fees and Discounts
$15 base fee per player
-$5/team per buzzer system
-$10/team per staffer
-$10/team if your school did not attend any tournaments in the 2015/16 year
Minimum fee: $10 per player
Checks should be made out to "Academic Competition Club at UVa".

Congratulations to all teams who attended, and to Duke, who beat Virginia A after a two-game advantaged final!
Teams played a 9-game round robin, followed by another round for placement purposes (except for the top two teams who obviously played two). I hope that everybody had a good time at this event, and that we'll see you at later tournaments in the Mid-Atlantic region!

The tournament ran very smoothly and VT greatly enjoyed it.
