Naveed Bork Online (8/12)

Post by naan/steak-holding toll »

A memorial of Naveed Bork will be run online on August 12th, for those interested. Please sign up at the following link on the "Online" sheet.

More information about the set may be found here.

Entry fee is $10 per person. I'm leaving the format as triples for now, unless we get a huge blossoming of interest.

If my notoriously poor home Internet is working, I'll give this a try. I don't know most of the categories so I'd like a partner who knows stuff.

Unfortunately, one of my teammates will not be able to play this, so we're looking for a teammate. Bonus points if you know one or more of lit/FA/social science -- but as long as you want to have fun and hopefully answer a nonzero number of questions we'll take you. PM or email me if you want to join, I guess.

Edit: I'll be playing this with Henry Wilson and Pranav Sivakumar.

Mike Bentley and I are playing together. We have a track record of finishing somewhere between first and last, if you're interested in joining us.

There is no science in this tournament! Well, at least not any explicitly outlined in the distribution...

(I kid, there won't be any "hardcore" science)

I'm capping this tournament at eight teams and am allowing teams to take on a fourth once every team has three players.

Format will be a single round robin plus finals.

One of my teammates probably won't be able to play because of a family emergency. I'm in desperate need of a Fine Arts Player please just add yourself to my team if you're interested I'd love to have you.

Eric Mukherjee, Emmett Laurie, and itinerant teammate Chris Manners defeated Kirk, Eddie, and Jason in the second game of a disadvantaged final. Congratulations!

I'll post the packets and stats tonight.
