CO Trash online mirror ANNOUNCEMENT (Sun., 9/23)
CO Trash online mirror ANNOUNCEMENT (Sun., 9/23)
This is the announcement for the online mirror of CO Trash, to be held on Sunday, September 23.
The cost will be $15 a player, and the tournament will start at 10am central and end around 5pm central. We'll send an email about online protocol once we get closer to the tournament.
For now, teams will consist of four players, and we will cap the field at six teams. We may expand (either in terms of number of players on a team or number of teams in the field) if there is further interest.
You should form teams using the spreadsheet here: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... sp=sharing
You can list yourself as a free agent, a partial team, or a complete team. Once you have four players, please email me at [email protected] to register; you won't officially be in the field until you register.
The field will fill first come, first served. We will endeavor to expand the field if necessary to accommodate everyone who wants to play.
Anyone who wants to play is welcome to do so. If you didn't respond to the initial survey of availability, or if you did and thought you'd be unavailable on the 23rd but now think you'll be able to play, that's fine!

Re: CO Trash online mirror POLL
We currently have 16 players interested, and I'm hoping we can find a date that will accommodate most, if not all, of them. If you're interested in playing the tournament and haven't done so yet, please fill out the form linked in the first post sometime before Wednesday the 15th so we can announce the online mirror date several weeks in advance with as much player input as possible. Thanks!

Hey! If you would like a sports specialist who may or may not be able to answer questions in other categories, lemme know so we can team. Movie and TV knowledge would be very helpful.

If anyone would like someone who has some fairly deep knowledge in sports, and knows a few things about movies and TV from ~1998-2007, I'd like to be on your team.

Due to the fact that I have some things related to my coursework to attend to this weekend, I can no longer play this. Sorry!

Re: CO Trash online mirror ANNOUNCEMENT (Sun., 9/23)
Hey folks -- I am still looking to play this, and will gladly be placed on a free agent team if necessary, but if anyone would like to team up, I co-wrote CO Trash in 2014, and am a (fairly) reliable scorer, especially in film and television. I can be reached at [email protected] if anyone is looking to form a team tonight in advance of tomorrow's deadline.

Don't let him fool you. This misrepresentation won't stand. It was 2013 CO Trash.

I'm not sure why my name got deleted from the list of free agents, but I put it back on there. Where do I send the money to?

If you are putting free agents together, I am happy to join Jonathan in defending our CO Trash Online 2016 title. :)

Re: CO Trash online mirror ANNOUNCEMENT (Sun., 9/23)
Thanks to everyone who played today. Due to the small size of the field, we decided against doing a full tournament and started with a quick round robin of three games. The stats for the round robin, which was won by the team of Chip Horton, Brian McNamara, and Delano Barnes, can be found here. After that, Chip Horton and Jason Thompson drafted two teams, who played a series of four games to a 2-2 draw. The stats for the draft games can be found here.
