2019 ACF Regionals @ UMN

I am pleased to announce the North site of ACF Regionals 2019, to be held at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, 26 January 2019. The tournament will be taking place in Blegen Hall with registration starting at 8:30 AM and play beginning at 9:00 AM.

Fees
Base fee: $135
Buzzer: -$5/functional system
Staffers: -$10/staffer
Shorthanded fee (teams of 1 or 2 players): $60
"New to Quizbowl" discount: $100
If you drop out 24 hours prior to the tournament, you will still be expected to pay the tournament dues.

We will be providing lunch to all staffers.

Packet Submissions
The submission schedule for this tournament is:
November 18th, 2018: -$50
December 2nd, 2018: -$25
December 16th, 2018: No penalty
January 6th, 2019: +$25
January 13th, 2019: +$50
After that, +$10 for each additional day that you're late.
After January 20th, you will be dropped from the tournament, with no exceptions.

Please submit your half-packet to [email protected]. The actual e-mail with the attached half-packet should have a subject-line reading: "School + Team Letter (if applicable) HALF-PACKET." In order to meet a deadline, you must submit your half-packet before 11:59pm Eastern Time on that date. Half-packets should be submitted in Microsoft Word .doc or .docx format.

Registration
First, please write to us at [email protected] with team name, number, and buzzer/staffer information.
Second, fill out the central ACF Regionals registration form with all relevant information.

Note Regarding Highschool Teams
High school teams are not allowed to register for this mirror of ACF Regionals.

Minnesota A cleared the field to win this site. Minnesota B took the UG title, and Carleton claimed the D2 title. Stats can be found here.
