Let's Remember Some New York Mets

Post by Cheynem »

I have a packet of about 20+ tossups about the greatest team in MLB history, the New York Mets (wait, did I say greatest? I meant worst.). Contrary to the name, not all of the questions in this packet are actually on individual Mets players or "guys." The packet is hard, but I don't think impossible. No one will enjoy this.

I'd like to read it tonight, but I don't know if people are still in a HSNCT stupor. I'll check the discord around 9 PM EST tonight.

You already said the packet was about the mets.

In true Mets form, my house is likely going to be attacked by "severe thunderstorms" tonight, so if I don't show up or disappear, my power/Internet has likely been rendered unable to compete, much like the last seasons of David Wright.

In true Mets fashion, the two biggest Mets fans playing this packet (Ryan Rosenberg and James Lasker) both lost--James mostly through unforced errors (negging) and Ryan choking in the final question like Carlos Beltran. Andrew Hart won. In other true Mets fashion, James was outscored by a Yankees fan (Jordan Brownstein).

In other true Mets fashion, someone from Atlanta (Naveed) stopped by to mock everyone else, got booed, outscored most of them, and then went on his way to Hooters.
