I always like non-CO Open difficulty opens, so I'm looking forward to this.

Re: "Summer" Open 2019 (August 2019)
We’ve decided to shift the date of “Summer” Open 2019 to mid-November in part due to an excellent suggestion from Jacob Reed. We believe this adjustment will allow us to avoid the downsides of a mid-August date (fatigue from/proximity to CO, coinciding with the start of the semester, etc.) while also enabling us to put together the best possible set for teams to play.

I would describe VCUO 2015 roughly as halfway between Regionals and Nationals difficulty (i.e. the classic conception of Regs+); Regionals to CO is much harder (roughly on par with Nationals difficulty). Which description will this tournament stick more closely to?Make sure your seatbelt is fastened wrote: ↑Wed Nov 28, 2018 12:13 amThe intended difficulty is somewhere approximately halfway between “regular difficulty” and Chicago Open, or very roughly on par with VCU Open 2015.

Given that Aseem is editing this, I assume there's going to be a California mirror? Would be great if that and other sites besides the New York one can get announced soon. Would also be nice to know if there's going to be any consensus main site.

Re: Fall Open 2019 (November 2019)
I've updated the first post with a few mirror sites. We're also changing the tournament's name to Fall Open to avoid any confusion!

Is there any chance of an online mirror of this? I unfortunately cannot go to the UK site, but would love to play this tournament if possible.

Seconding this. I don't have the time or budget to fly to another tournament this semester, but I would absolutely be down to plan an online mirror. The Abydos Helicopter wrote: ↑Wed Oct 30, 2019 1:20 pm Is there any chance of an online mirror of this?
