Schurniverse: It's a Schur Thing (Early Summer 2020)

Play Quiz Bowl is excited to announce Schurniverse, a set dedicated to the various projects of TV producer extraordinaire Michael Schur. The set will be written by Danny Vopava (with a few contributions from myself), and will have 6 packets of 20 tossups with the following distribution:

5/0 The Office
4/0 Parks and Recreation
4/0 Brooklyn Nine-Nine
4/0 The Good Place
1/0 Saturday Night Live (Schur's work, specifically)
2/0 Lesser TV Projects

We're planning on having this ready for mirrors in time for the 2020 high school nationals season - stay tuned for info on exactly where and when you can play this.

This is perhaps the greatest set idea ever. Also, even more incentive for me to finish The Office and Parks and Rec before they leave Netflix.

With the significant changes to the quiz bowl world amidst the COVID-19 pandemic, we are making a number of updates to our release plans.

While it was initially scheduled to release this month, Schurniverse (our set focused on the projects of Michael Schur) will be delayed. The excitement for this set has been significant, and we want to ensure that players are able to enjoy this one in person when it is safe to do so. As such, we are planning to release this set in May 2021, so it can be played during nationals season.
