MRNA VACCINE at Warwick (2/12/2022)

Warwick Quiz Society are pleased to announce that we will be hosting the UK mirror of MRNA, a medium to hard tournament. I, Ben Hubner, will be the tournament director, any questions can be addressed to me at [email protected]. Players should meet online on Zoom (link to be provided later) at 9:00am, ready for games to start by 9:30am.

This tournament will be run using the MRNA VACCINE (Medium RaNge Academic, a Vanderbilt and Company Collaboration vIa NEtwork) question set. More information can be found at viewtopic.php?t=25034.

Prices will be as follows:
Base fee: £90
Minimum: £30
Staffer: -£20 if associated with a team (£20 as an external moderator)

(Schools with no teams or players who have played non-novice tournaments since September 2020)
Shorthanded: -£15
(Only 1 or 2 players)

With a preliminary field cap of 16, the following priority will be given to teams:
1. UK 'A' teams in order of signup.
2. UK 'B' teams in order of signup.
3. All other teams in order of signup.

Thanks to Warwick for hosting, and we hope the UK circuit enjoyed the set. A private discussion forum exists and can be accessed by signing in, clicking your username in the top right corner, clicking "User Control Panel," navigating to the "usergroups" tab, and then requesting to join.
