2022-23 ACF Fall, Winter, and Regionals Editor Applications

Post by ACF Announcements »

ACF is now accepting applications for subject editors for the following tournaments:

2022 ACF Fall, head edited by Steven Liu and Arjun Nageswaran, held on October 15, 2022;
2022 ACF Winter, head edited by Joseph Krol, held on November 5, 2022; and
2023 ACF Regionals, head edited by Nick Jensen, held on January 28, 2023.

Applications require:
  • a brief description of writing experience
  • an indication of category preferences
  • at least five sample questions (at least two of which must be original for this submission)
  • an explanation of your writing process for one tossup and one bonus
  • at least one reference
For all applications, ACF will be looking at the strength of the applicants' question samples, thought processes and rationale, and references. ACF aims to assemble teams of enthusiastic editors with a diverse set of backgrounds, and highly encourages all those interested to apply. ACF also encourages you to share this application with anyone you believe is qualified.

ACF may reach out to candidates who apply to one tournament if ACF deems they are a better fit for a different tournament's editing team; however, to guarantee you will be considered for a given tournament's editing team, you must fill out that tournament's application.

All applications are due by 11:59 p.m. Eastern on Sunday, June 5, 2022. Any questions regarding the Fall, Winter, or Regionals forms can be sent to their respective emails ([email protected], [email protected], and [email protected]). We look forward to receiving your applications!
