COHORT (Roman History Packet)

Post by Restitutor27 »

Hi everyone,

I have written a 24/0 packet called COHORT (Convincingly Obfuscated History Of Rome Tossups). This is 24 tossups on Roman history, spread from the 4th century BC to the fall of the western empire.

Difficulty is a range from regular difficulty (~2/3 of answerlines) to open difficulty (~1/3 of answerlines), so it is quite hard on an objective level, but should be very powerable for specialists.

A lot of quizbowl Roman history is quite focused on late republic and early empire but this packet emphasises that less, so there will in particular be a good amount of mid-republic and post-284 empire content.

I have one packet for now, but am planning to write one more this summer.

I'd like to read this on the quizbowl discord at some point next week. I'll provisionally put down Wednesday 22nd June 22:00 UTC (18:00 Eastern Time) but can change if needed.
