Acronym @ Waterloo July 16

Greetings!

The Waterloo Quiz Bowl Club is overjoyed to announce that we’ll be hosting a mirror of the "regular difficulty" trash set Acronym 16 on Sunday July 16th, 2023. Information about the Acronym set can be found here: viewtopic.php?t=26356

Play is expected to start at 10:00am. Location is J.R. Coutts Hall on campus. Someone will direct this tournament. For any questions email uwquizbowl (at) clubs.wusa.com

Registration:
To register, please put yourself down on this spreadsheet: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/ ... edit#gid=0 and email us at the address above. Deadline for registration will be July 10th (my birthday!).

Fees (CAD):
$100 per team
- $20 for shorthanded teams (1 or 2 players)
- $10 for working buzzer system
- 15$ per team affiliated staffer

Independent staffers will also be paid $15.

Payment will be through a ticketing site provided by our university, shared with teams after the tournament.
