SANDS [Novice Set] Available for Mirrors (2022-2023)

This is the announcement for the Solon Adjacent Novice Difficulty Set (SANDS), a set intended for the novice high school and middle school levels. The set will be available for mirrors at high school and middle school tournaments during the 2022-23 season.

We intend for the set to be ready for mirrors beginning in August.

The set will consist of twelve packets of 20/20. Tossups will be power marked and bonuses will consist of three 10-point parts. Tossups will be limited to around 400-450 characters, or about 4 lines of Times New Roman size 10.

The distribution will be as follows, and subcategories will be distributed over the set, not per packet:
