I am pleased to announce that Columbia Quiz Bowl will be hosting a mirror of 2023 CREEK+ on October 7th, 2023. The tournament will be held at Columbia in Hamilton Hall and directed by Geoffrey Wu. Gameplay will begin at 9:30 am following an opening meeting at 9:15 am.
Rules:
This is a closed tournament - all players on a team should attend the same college. While there are no formal eligibility requirements, the CREEK+ team reserves the right to determine if a player and/or team is too skilled to play this set. If you have any eligibility questions, please contact me individually at the email address in the Google form.
Payment:
The fee structure for each team is the following:
- Base fee: $120 USD
- Buzzer discount: -$10 / working buzzer set
- Approved moderator discount: -$15 / staffer
- Travel discount: -$10 per 200 miles one way (according to Google Maps)
- Shorthanded discount (1-2 person team): -$45
- Minimum fee: $50 USD

The field will initially be capped at 16, which may be expanded depending on staffers and interest. Any teams above the cap will be placed on a waitlist. The registration deadline is October 5th, 2023.
