2023 Penn Bowl at UC Berkeley (10/28/2023)

I'm pleased to announce that UC Berkeley will be hosting the NorCal mirror of 2023 Penn Bowl on Saturday, October 28th, 2023.

Location: Social Sciences building, formerly Barrows Hall (tentative). The opening meeting will begin at 8:45 AM and gameplay will begin at 9:00 AM.

Registration:

To register, please email me at [email protected] with the following details:
1) The name of your school and the number of teams
2) The number of buzzers and staffers you will be bringing
3) Whether you will be traveling more than 200 miles one-way

Fees:

We will use the following fee structure:
Base fee: $120
New to quizbowl discount: −$80
Shorthanded discount (1–2 players): −$60
Travel discount: −$10 per 200 miles traveled one-way
Buzzers: −$10 per functional buzzer system
Staffers: −$25 per staffer with a functional laptop.
Minimum fee: $40
