Choctawhatchee HS will be hosting the sixteenth annual "Emerald Coast Academic Tournament" on Saturday, February 17, 2007. The entry fee is $75 per team ($10 discount with buzzer system; one discount per school).

We will accept registrations from teams throughout the country. Traditionally, teams from Alabama, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana and Mississippi have competed in this tournament. We usually have the minimum 16 teams required for National Championship qualifying. We do accept "B" teams/second teams.
The morning rounds will be round-robin by divisions. After lunch, the top 8-12 teams will participate in single-elimination matches. Each team is guaranteed at least four matches during the day.
