Place your NCAA tournament pool links here

Post by First Chairman »

It's March Madness time. If any of you are doing pools and want to open it to people on this board (at your own risk), put up your link or directions.

A ton of you have already started Facebook pools, and I'm sure many others are setting up ESPN, Yahoo, and other pools.

We're also equal-opportunity, so specify the men's or women's tournaments.

My facebook pool is less generalized... living in Indiana, I've only heard of "Its Academic" through this board.

Am alive, just haven't been around as much. I have, however, undergone a subtle change in avatar appearances.

Needs more Sabu. Also, I am glad you are defending your title this year in the challenge.

So I guess the Yahoo group is the official HSQB-endorsed one this year?

I don't know if it will be the "officially endorsed" HSQB pool. There are tons of facebook pools running among teams as well.

I hadn't seen the ESPN one when making that query; I think based on inertia that will be the one that somebody can claim to be the HSQB Champion from.

ESPN is, in my mind, the official league since that's where we played the past few years. TRADITION

Sadly, George Mason screwed my bracket up last year. I forget who the defending champ is, but I am going for my 3rd title in 4 years now...

I'd be more intrigued with his VCU-Pitt selection in R2.

I have four brackets of unofficial random picks for that tournament. Should I have them join the group just to make it look bigger?

After the first round, Matt Weiner and I are tied for the lead at 28 of 32 correct picks.

haha that's exactly what I did:

http://wm.facebook.com/bracket.php?id=7610668&ref=prf

Hopefully SIU can make it to the final four still and Winthrop can make it to the elite 8, if so then I will be the black belt master of bracket pwnage. If only I had devoted more research to the 8-9 games, I would be in much better shape (why I picked Marquette over MSU I have no idea).
